China Energy Sector Market Visit

Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk businesses are invited to join our 12th market visit to China.
Essex is working in partnership with Norfolk County Council, Suffolk County Council, the East of England Energy Group, and the Jiangsu Provincial Government to create a long-term region-to-region collaboration to promote links between businesses, universities, and industry associations.
The purpose is to increase two-way exchanges of trade, investment, knowledge and expertise. The March visit launches this initiative and will have a particular focus on the offshore wind sector. China has put offshore wind power at the top of its renewable energy agenda. As in the UK, the rapid rise of this new sector in China is creating exciting new trade and investment opportunities. Essex’s partner region in China, Jiangsu Province, is at the heart of these developments.
